Research Overview
Research in the Findlater group focuses on the synthesis and characterization of organometallic species for use in catalytic applications, most notably in the functionalization of small molecules. More recently, we have begun projects in electroorganic synthesis, organoarsenic chemistry and the electrochemical functionalization of carbon dioxide. Our research capabilities include organic and inorganic synthesis, mechanistic studies, spectroscopic characterization, and the testing of new catalysts. With these broad capabilities, our group sees catalysts through from molecular beginnings to working catalysts. If you are interested in collaborating on a project, please email Dr. Findlater.
